Twin Lakes is a small unincorporated community located in Grayson County, Kentucky, USA. The community is named after the two lakes, Rough River Lake and Nolin River Lake, that are situated on the northern and southern sides of it.
Rough River Lake is a man-made lake created by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1959. It is a popular destination for boating, fishing, sailing, and other water sports. Nolin River Lake is also a man-made lake created by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1962. It is a popular destination for fishing and camping.
Twin Lakes is a rural community with a population of around 800 people. The community has a post office, a few small shops, and a church. It is primarily a residential area, with many homes situated along the lakeshores.
